Runaway Ann started back in 2013 when I set off on my first adventure across the USA. Excited to share my experiences and tips with loved ones, I started this travel blog.

My love for travel has been with me for as long as I can remember. It started with exploring my homeland, Poland, and then expanded to other European countries.

As a budget-conscious traveler, I’ve always enjoyed exploring on my own, seeking adventure wherever I go. Whether it’s backpacking through Asia or road-tripping across Europe, I take every chance to discover new places.

Having traveled to nearly 30 countries so far, I prefer longer trips to shorter ones. This allows me to dive deeper into each destination and create richer, more valuable content for my readers.

Recently, I achieved my dream of traveling independently by building my own camper van and moving to the USA. Currently, I’m exploring the stunning Pacific Northwest states, accompanied by my two cats.

In 2023, I took a leap of faith and left my full-time corporate job to focus on this blog. What started as a simple hobby has grown into a passion for sharing my love of travel and exploration with the world.
